We’re excited to share some big news at The Brain Clinic. Andrea Sartori, PhD, is joining our team, and her experience, passion, and patient-centered approach will bring tremendous value to the individuals and families we serve throughout Southwest Virginia.
Expertise In Aging And Brain Health
Dr. Sartori is a clinical neuropsychologist with a deep focus on aging, memory concerns, and dementia care. Throughout her training and career she has worked closely with adults facing memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, brain injury, and other complex neurological and medical conditions. This background allows her to approach cognitive care with both clinical depth and real-world practicality.

What truly sets Dr. Sartori apart is her collaborative, down-to-earth style. She believes patients should be active participants in their care, not passive recipients of information. Her goal is to help individuals and families understand what’s happening, feel supported, and make informed decisions. That philosophy aligns closely with The Brain Clinic’s mission of compassionate, whole-person care.
Dr. Sartori also brings a strong commitment to education and outreach. She has long been passionate about helping communities better understand cognitive aging and brain health. While hosting community talks and interactive workshops, she has helped to reduce fear, answer questions, and encourage early support.
Expanding Our Mobile Services
As part of her role at The Brain Clinic, Dr. Sartori will help expand access to care through mobile services across SW Virginia. In collaboration with AMAI, she will support efforts to reach individuals who may otherwise have limited access to specialized neuropsychological services. These initiatives are already underway, supported in part by a recently awarded $20,000 grant.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Sartori values connection, curiosity, and balance. She enjoys spending time outdoors, being with family and friends, or tending to houseplants.
